Since the first Skype show in October 2007 at Copy Festival in Zürich, Tim & Puma Mimi performed more than 30 Skype concerts in Zürich, Berlin, New York and Tokyo. According to Swiss Sunday newspaper Sonntagszeitung, Tim & Puma Mimi is “[die] weltweit erste Skype-Band” (the world’s first Skype band). Time Out recommended that “[someone] should get The World is Flat author Thomas Friedman out to Karma tonight, since this show promises to be a great demonstration of his globe-unitiy thesis”.
